Cell division is a normal process of living organism for their growing up and reproduction. There have two major type of cell division.
Mitosis cell division
Meiosis cell division

Abnormal cell division
In 1890 a German researcher, David Hanseman found an abnormal cell division when these dividing through mitosis cell division. But he could not found that why it is happening such types of cell division.
David Gisselsson fron Lund University gives an idea why should abnormal cell division happens.
David Gisselsson have a wide range of study on chromosome number change in cancer cell.
An example may give that the chromosome number in cancer cell is deviated from the chromosome number in normal cell. Normal cell chromosome number is 46. But in skeletal and pancreatic cancer some cell may found that the chromosome number different from 46.
Scientists of Lund University during mitosis cell division a certain types of cell faces with abnormalities or get stuck as a result chromosome can not divide in two direction properly and they enter into daughter cell with an abnormal manner.
